Saint-Gobain announces its investment in a 60/40 joint venture company with InDeco, one of the leading decoration and design companies for public space in China, to strengthen their long-term partnership in the field of modular construction, a one-step further in the Group strategy of sustainable construction industry.
The new company, named InSpace Construction and Technology Co. aims at providing the Chinese market with brand-new prefabricated solutions for interior decoration applications.
In the words of Javier Gimeno “driven by the increasing demand of productivity and the need of shortening the time of construction, prefabrication and modularity constitute one of the major trends of the Chinese construction industry. Saint-Gobain is determined to pioneer and lead the way in this country in the field of modules for interior decoration”.
